CASE STUDY: Biggin Community

Biggin Community Broadband Network
Biggin is a small community in a rural area. There’s a lot more to life than farming - with many businesses and business people based in the village. There was little hope of broadband reaching the village conventionally, and the community was facing being penalised by having to rely on slow dial-up internet connections. This was more time consuming, forced people to travel and hampered business development. When it came to broadband, they realised they had to take matters into their own hands.
